A week before the Hahnenkamm Race, Kitzbuehel is staging the world’s biggest winter-polo tournament.
The new polo year is going to start with an action-packed snow-extravaganza:
Between ‘Kitzbueheler Horn’ and the ‘Wilder Kaiser’, international polo stars will be challenging each other in teams of three for the 7th Hypo Liechtenstein Snow Arena Polo World Cup. The event takes place from the 16th of January to the 18th of January, 2009.
Polo ponies will be racing with breathtaking speed scross the snowcovered Münichauer Wiese, located directly outside world-famous Kitzbuehel. A top-class sports event for all, including, of course, all-round entertainment and plenty of local culinary treats.
